                   -  friends of my son or daughter who gather in our home                        

                   -  my son or daughter

Mission:

The mission of Bloomington Safe House is to provide an online resource for parents in the community who have committed not to provide, allow, or enable underage alcohol or drug use in their homes by their child or the friends of their child who gather in their home.

Bloomington Safe House will allow participating parents to know that the homes their son or daughter are visiting have committed to be free of underage alcohol and other drug use among students. 

Bloomington Safe House is created to provide students of the Bloomington community multiple home environments that have committed to be free of underage alcohol and other drug use.

Vision:

Underage alcohol and other drug use will be significantly reduced among students

at Jefferson and Kennedy High School.

Parents' Pledge:

We as parents commit to making our house a ‘AOD Safe House’. 

• We will NOT provide, allow, or enable underage alcohol or other drug use by any student (athlete).
• Any friend of my son or daughter who enters my home will be assured a safe environment free of underage drinking and other drug use.
• We will take an active role to ensure our house is supervised if we are out of town.
• We will not model alcohol or other drug use in the presence of students during student gatherings in our home.
• We will take an active role to ensure the above conditions occur.
