Biography:
Dan Richardson started teaching at Kennedy in 2004. He teaches ninth grade English, tenth grade English, various electives such as Teen Literature and Poetry, and starting in 2008, Honors World Civilization. Dan co-advises the Kennedy Guitar Club and is on the Staff Development and Language Arts Steering Committees. Before coming to Kennedy, he taught high school English for three years in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. From 1996-2001, he worked for the Brooklyn Public Library in the Adult Literacy Program.
He received a Masters in Secondary English Education from Brooklyn College in 2003, a Masters in English Literature from New York University in 1995, and a B.A. in English from Rutgers University in 1990. He lives in Saint Louis Park and insists that pop is called soda. |
