Biography:
This is Ms. Lehner's sixth year teaching at Kennedy High School. She is a graduate of Northwestern College in St. Paul, where she ran cross-country and headed the English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta. Since earning her bachelor's degree, Ms. Lehner has had the opportunity to take several graduate-level courses around the world, including Gaelic Literature and Culture in Galway, Ireland. Two years ago, the National Endowment for the Humanities sent her to California to study the work and life of John Steinbeck, one of her favorite authors.
Ms. Lehner has helped coach cross-country at Kennedy in the past, but now she is a fan on the sidelines with her one-year-old daughter. She is always available to help students before school with their writing, especially those tricky college application essays. |
