Biography:

     Jeff is the Work Program Coordinator and also the BEACON ALC Coordinator. This is his 20th year in the fabulous Bloomington Public School system and it has been a GREAT experience to work in this district. He got his college education at the chilly institution up in Bemidji, Minnesota at Bemidji State University (GO BEAVERS!). While at BSU, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education and played on the football team there.

     Upon graduation he entered the world of education starting out as a substitute teacher for several districts of which one was Bloomington. As the years progressed, he became more of a Bloomington fixture especially when he started to coach football at Kennedy. He soon started to move up the ranks when he assumed the position of teacher for the old Project ReEntry. He had to give up coaching when he became more involved with what eventually became BEACON ALC.

     During his free time Jeff is an avid sci-fi reader and nut. He also enjoys going to the gym, walking Lake Calhoun, movies and travel as his main form of recreation.
