SchoolView FAQs

SchoolView is an online program that allows you to view your student's grades, attendance, schedule, and transcripts online.

If you already have a SchoolView account, go to:

http://asp.ties.k12.mn.us/schoolview/sv_login.asp

(Note:  School District Number is 0271, then enter your username and password.)

If you do not have an account, how do I sign up?

Contact Keith Johnson at the Kennedy Library in one of the three ways (listed in order of preference):

1)  E-mail:  Kdjohnso@bloomington.k12.mn.us

Your e-mail should include your child's name and grade and a phone number where you can be reached during the work day hours.

2)  Phone:  952-681-5009

Be prepared to leave your name, student name and grade, e-mail address, and phone number.  Please speak clearly and spell out last names to avoid confustion.

 

3)  Library - In Person

A personal visit may not guarantee that your account will be set up immediately.  You will likely have to fill out a SchoolView form first.  Requests will be filled out in the order in which they are received.

IMPORTANT:

PLEASE TAKE CARE TO REMEMBER YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD.

If you do lose or forget your username or password, contact Mr. Johnson.

Can I just register on my own?
Before doing so, you must get an "access code" to begin the signup process. This process is moderately complex. The personal access code is 20 varied characters long and must be entered in exactly as it appears. In addition, the newly created password has various stipulations (numbers, letters, caps & lower case, special characters) that can cause some problems. However you will be given ample training and materials to guide your through the process if you wish to do it yourself. Otherwise, Keith Johnson will create the account, and email the necessary information back to you.

How long will it take for my SchoolView account to be set up?

Normally you could expect your account to be set up within a week, but due to a large backlog of SchoolView account requests (150+) that were submitted during Kennedy Connect day, there has been a considerable slow down in creating those accounts. (Note: if you submitted a SchoolView account form during Kennedy Connect, a reminder email to Keith Johnson would be helpful).
