White Bear Lake Visits Kennedy High School's PLTW Program

Administration and teachers representing core and allied departments of the White Bear Lake Schools came to visit facility and faculty of Bloomington Public Schools to understand the process of incorporating Project Lead the Way (PLTW) into the school's curriculum. The visitors spoke with Scott Etzel and Brad Pike, who with Kevin Baas are trained PLTW instructors and have offered courses for the last three years. Kennedy currently offers the three foundation courses Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Principles of Engineering (POE), Digital Electronics (DE) and one specialization course, Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA).

Etzel is proud to highlight the fact that two Kennedy students earned college credit from the University of Minnesota for their successful completion of a PLTW course last spring.
