Girls' Track News
In girls' track, Labrisha Michael had a season best in the shot put 41' 5 3/4 inches to rank her 3rd in the state so far. Labrisha also won the Lake Conference shot put title. Kelly Jeans, a freshman, pole vaulted a personal best of 10 feet, 4 inches to break the Kennedy girls' school record and rank her as the 15th best vaulter in the state. Kelly placed 3rd at the sectional meet, just narrowly missing out on a trip to the state meet.
