Indian Mounds Earns Minnesota School of Excellence Designation 2008

Indian Mounds is one of only nine Minnesota Schools receiving "Minnesota School of Excellence" validation this year. Only 135 schools have received this honor since the program's inception in 1986. This research based program aligns with national standards in: leadership, vision, student learning, the culture of adult learning, data and decision making, and community engagement. The validation is recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education, the Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association and the National Association of Elementary School Principals. We will have a celebration this year acknowledging the efforts of our school community. If you have questions regarding the "School of Excellence" process, please call our principal, Mrs. Maland.
