SHAPE to host Citizenship Day, April 19

The South Hennepin Adult Programs in Education (SHAPE) is partnering with the American Immigration Lawyers Association to host Citizenship Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 19, 2008.

Attorneys, paralegals and trained professionals will be on hand to assist in the preparation of naturalization applications. Legal permanent residents ("green card" holders) who are interested in becoming U.S. citizens are invited to attend.

The event is $20, and will be held at the Bloomington SHAPE Office, 2575 W. 88th St. Citizenship Day events will also be held in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Burnsville, Rochester, Wilmar, Worthington, Mankato, and St. Cloud.
