Bloomington Public Schools will offer parents a new, full-day preschool program to meet the needs of their busy lives and prepare their child for kindergarten.
Early Learners Academy is designed to meet the needs of Bloomington's working families who need full-day child care and desire an early education experience for their three-, four-, or five-year old child. For the 2007-08 School Year, Early Learners Academy will be located at Poplar Bridge and Ridgeview — two of Bloomington's safe, award-winning elementary schools.
"Your child will be in the care of nurturing instructors who provide small group learning opportunities and focus on your child's social and emotional development," said Wendy Webster, ELA coordinator. "Early Learners Academy will support the educational development of your child and prepare him or her for the Bloomington Public Schools kindergarten curriculum."
We encourage families, who wish to begin an early relationship with Bloomington Public Schools, to explore this opportunity. Early Learners Academy will offer two options for parents: a 10-month and full-year program.
To learn more about the full-year program, join us for an informational session on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Poplar Bridge Elementary School. Please call 952.681.6125 for more information.
