Bloomington Middle Schools to welcome parents Jan. 16

All three middle schools will be hosting orientation meetings for parents of current fifth grade students on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

6:30 p.m. – Valley View Middle

7:00 p.m. – Oak Grove Middle

7:00 p.m. – Olson Middle

Parents will learn about the middle school experience and see examples of the opportunities middle schools have to offer students.  The registration process will be explained.

In addition, the schools will present:

• The Choir, Band, and/or Orchestra will be singing & playing. Students will be able to see the middle school experiences waiting for them.

• General information about the school will be given (class offerings, school size, clubs and extra curricular activities and the highlights of the school).

• Information about Cougar/Falcon/Husky Camp, which is the sixth-grade student orientation in August, will be provided.
