| Dimensions Academy to expand to Olson Middle School

Dimensions Academy, the Bloomington Public Schools’ nationally recognized program for highly and profoundly gifted students, is expanding to Olson Middle School beginning with the 2010-11 school year. This expansion will add to the program already in place at Oak Grove Middle School.
Olson Middle School, 4551 W. 102nd St., will house an additional program for middle school students starting with the sixth grade class next year, and then adding seventh and eighth grade classes in subsequent years.
An informational meeting regarding the middle school portion of the DA program will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the Olson Middle School Media Center. Applications for the 2010 school year will be accepted up to March 19, 2010.
Dimensions Academy is designed to provide challenging and rigorous curriculum at an accelerated pace for gifted children with strong academic skills. Information about the DA program can be found at:
