Class Agents make alumni connections at Bloomington Schools
This year, Bloomington Public Schools launched a Class Agent page to allow its alumni to connect with each other and coordinate events and reunions.
Class Agents keep in touch with their classmates, updating them on school information, their friends and upcoming events. Class Agents also help with special events and reunions. Already you may represent your high school class. Now, make it official and help make connections between fellow alumni, your school and the community at large.
Currently, there are about ten class agents registered for the four schools. Frequently, the School Community Relations Office receives requests regarding reunions, events or contact people for the various classes, said Christine Dufour, School Community Relations specialist. This service will help alumni connect to each other.
The Education Foundation of Bloomington is a great resource for alumni planning reunions. Every five years, the Education Foundation of Bloomington updates its alumni information. A Bloomington class organizing a reunion can request a list of their classmates and contact information through the Education Foundation.
For more information on the Class Agent program and upcoming alumni reunions, visit www.BloomingtonSchools.info and click on Community Connection and then Alumni and Class Reunions. All classes welcome additional volunteers. To become a Class Agent, even if someone is already listed for your class, please contact Christine Dufour at cdufour@bloomington.k12.mn.us or 952.681.6404.
