Olson Middle School presents Bugsy Malone March 2 - 3

Olson Middle School presents Bugsy Malone at Olson Middle School on March 2 and 3 at 7 p.m.  The tickets will be $7 for students and $8 for adults.

"Bugsy Malone" is a wonderfully uplifting musical about two rival gangs: Fat Sam's and Dandy Dan's.  Dandy Dan's gang is planning to "Splurge" or wipe out Fat Sam's gang and take over the town.  While Fat Sam frantically fights to keep his gang alive, our hero of the story, Bugsy Malone, starts to fall for a struggling singer named Blousey.  Bugsy tries to help her to the top while trying to avoid the rival gangs and Tallulah (Fat Sam's girlfriend).  Of course, there is romance, dancing and fun toe-tapping songs that will have you on the edge of your seat!

A FREE senior citizen performance will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 9:30 a.m., with complimentary coffee and rolls offered at 9:00 a.m.

"Bugsy Malone" performances:

Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

The cast of Bugsy features a mix of students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade. 

The play is directed by Lee Gillis with vocal direction by Shelley Ohnsorg. 

Tickets will be $7 for students and $8 for adults.  Tickets can be purchased in advanced or at the door before the performance.  Olson Middle School is located at 4551 W. 102nd street, Bloomington.
