Bloomington Schools enrollment increases

For the first time since 1994, the enrollment in Bloomington Public Schools increased.

The 2004-05 Enrollment Report shows a 127-student increase in the K-12 enrollment, a 92-student increase in Grades 9-12, a 51-student increase in Grades 6-8 and a 16--student decrease in K-5. Diversity increased in the District to 31 percent. Also, 55 percent of K-5 class sizes had 21 to 25 students. 34 percent of classes had 20 students or less and 11 percent of classes had 26 to 29 students. There were no classes with 30 or more students.  Census data shows the Bloomington population of children under 4 is increasing.
