Community Relations
It is the mission of the Community Relations Office to provide leadership in communications and community engagement that support the Bloomington Public Schools’ Strategic Plan and its schools, staff and students.
The Community Relations Office work is guided by a Comprehensive Communications Plan, and that:
- effective communication is a two-way process involving both internal and external audiences.
- establishing positive relationships with key audiences of parents, business leaders and community builds support for public schools and education.
- meaningful public engagement encourages community involvement in education that benefits children and increases student achievement.
