Oak Grove Middle School presents Oklahoma March 8 - 11

Oak Grove Middle School presents the great American musical Rodger's & Hammerstein's Oklahoma March 8-11th.

Oklahoma is directed by Jennifer Berglund and Bryan Blessing, set design by Don Thibault, choreography by Juli Mickelson and costume and make-up design by Stephanie and Mary Jane Harmon.

Oklahoma is famous for such songs as Oklahoma, Oh What a Beautiful Morning,

The Surrey with the Fringe on Top and many more. Oklahoma is the story of two girls, cowboys, farmers, a feisty Aunt and an amorous and devious peddler man.

There is love, fear, comedy, and dancing in this great American musical that is enjoyable for all ages.

Devon Redlin plays the role of the feisty Aunt Eller. Curly is played by Ian Reyes. His love interest and Aunt Eller's niece is Laurey, played by Anna Koester. Jud Fry, the evil farm hand, is played by Adam Erkenbrack. Ado Annie, played by Elizabeth Wolner, can't decide who she loves between Will Parker, played by Joey Saba, and the cunning peddler man, played by Bryan Duerfeldt. A cast, crew and band of over 50 kids rounds out the production.

Oklahoma will be performed on Thursday and Friday, March 8 and 9 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 10 at 1 p.m.; Sunday, March 11 at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Middle School, 1300 West 106th Street, Bloomington, Minnesota.. Tickets may be ordered in advance by calling 952.681.6727. Tickets are $8.

There will be a free performance for seniors on Wednesday, March 7 at 10 a.m.

with complimentary coffee and rolls available at 9:30a.m.
